The Western Mustangs and OUA All-Stars shake hands following an exciting all-star matchup at the Rogers Centre in Toronto May 4th. The Mustangs took a 7-5 victory in the contest.

Male: Owen White, Brock Badgers, Basketball
Fourth-year Philosophy student Owen White of Brock claimed the Jack Donohue Trophy as the tournament MVP at this past weekend's CIS Men's Basketball Championship, for his 12-point, nine-rebound performance in the final, a 25-point tally against No.6-Western in the semifinals and a 22-point effort in the first round against No.2-UBC.

Female: Hollie Nicol, Laurier Golden Hawks, Curling
Hollie Nicol,third year skip of the Laurier Golden Hawks led her team to National gold after starting the CIS round robin tournament 0-3. A Markham resident, Nicol regrouped her squad on the third day of the tourney and won seven straight draws, finishing with an exciting 6-4 victory over the Manitoba Bison to take home the first CIS banner in women’s curling.
